Holiday Gift Guide

The Perfect Gift
It's that time of year again and no matter how many times I tell myself I will not procrastinate when it comes to buying gifts - somehow, I always do. I think I overthink about the "perfect gift" and then I become overwhelmed and wish someone would just spell it out for me. If you feel the same, your wish has been granted.
I have put together a few of my favorite things from this year (yes this may also be my Christmas list) - all from the movers, makers and shakers that are disrupting the industry. You will find unique pieces from some of the most creative minds, companies that are giving back like never before, and brands that go the extra mile to make sustainability and ethical manufacturing a standard in their process.
Enjoy!
xx,
Bri
For those of us who appreciate premium beach umbrellas & essentials because we live at the beach (or even if you don't live at the beach but are in search of "insta worthy" beach goods)- these are for you. And as if that's not enough the canopy is UV & Water Resistant and the wooden poles are made of Eco Timber which are off-cuts of World Forestries certified timbers that would otherwise be waste. (Talk about looking good & feeling good)
California based hat company that works with artisans to create hand-woven toquilla hats. Handmade with Palm leaves by women in the mountains of Ecuador, their mission- to make a positive impact inspiring people who think alike, to create a more sustainable and loving community, based in the appreciation for Nature and the best of human expressions- will leave you feeling empowered through your purchase.
The perfect stocking stuffer that everyone can appreciate! At Conscious Coconut, they work directly with farmers in the southern Philippines to their packaging factories in China, supporting fair trade practices every step of the way. Conscious Coconut tubes are then packaged by adults with mental and developmental disabilities at the MacDonald Training Center located in Tampa, Florida. They are dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to lead the lives they choose. They also love kids (a lot) and are committed to raising awareness for childhood hunger in the States. For every product sold, they donate a meal to a child in need through Feeding America food banks. I am proud to be stocking them right here at Label B.

The Apricot Memoirs

Full of inspiration and truth this incredible book of creative prose and poetry quiets our mind and softens are hearts to the beauty of our dreams and the magic of the ordinary. From the inspiring mind of Tess Guinery comes a work of refreshing words, so eloquently spoken that it will surely be a treasure for anyone who receives it.

Label B Juliet One Piece

The perfect one piece that doubles as a bodysuit. Wear it dry or wear it wet, dress it up or dress it down. One of my favorites from the collection this piece is my go-to for so many different reasons.

Aleksandra Zee

When I mentioned makers (& shakers) this incredible talent came to mind. Aleksandra is someone I have followed for a while because of her raw creativity and genuine inspiration that she puts into the world. She is an expert woodworker based in Oakland, CA who's pieces are eye catching and will stand out in any home or venue (& when I buy a house you can believe one of her pieces will be among the first investments on my walls) . Not into things? No problem, the fact that she is willing to share her talent through her workshops means you can give an experience to that someone in your life who appreciates memories > things.

NVL&CO.

Handmade jewelry and accessories rooted in Jacksonville, FL. Most pieces are made to order so they're customizable for any person on your list. As a fellow small business I know the grind & supporting my local community is always a priority especially during the holiday season!

Green Chef

You may be thinking what is a food subscription service doing on this list? As part of sustainable living I take my food seriously. The ingredients, where it comes from, and the footprint all informs how and where I shop. Personally, I like to shop locally or at the Farmer's Market whenever possible, but with busy schedules sometimes I just don't have the time (I know I'm not alone). The Green Chef is a USDA Certified Organic Company that works with farmers to source sustainable and delicious ingredients. In addition to their eco-friendly packagaing they offset 100% of their carbon  emissions with programs through Terrapass. For the gift that keeps on giving all year long this is a go-to.

Case + Drift

Another brand local to Jacksonville that I love because they think global. Case+Drift specializes in all-purpose lifestyle products designed for both vagabonds and professionals alike. Their Turkish towels and outdoor/travel bags are custom designed with style and versatility, making them great for travel, weekend adventures or everyday use — across the seasons! Dreamed up by a fellow explorer (shoutout to Casey!).

 Usha Living

USHA- meaning dawn, the moment before sunrise is a slow living inspired Australian based company working with local artisans in Indonesia to create a collection of sustainable bags made with natural materials. Through their blog they highlight those living a slow and sustainable lifestyle and a glimpse inside their brand. Although we are across the pond from each other we are joined through the common ideals of ethical manufacturing and sustainable living.
